NordForsk funds seven Nordic Research Infrastructure Hubs
NordForsk received 33 applications in response to its call for proposals for Nordic Research Infrastructure (RI) Hubs. NordForsk has now decided to fund seven Research Infrastructure Hubs with NOK 17 million in total.
Four new projects on societal security will conduct research on global trends
A total of 28 grant applications were submitted under the call entitled “Nordic societal security in light of the emerging global and regional trends”. Four of the projects have now been granted funding from a total budget of NOK 44 million.
Nordic research collaboration on pandemics
There is a great need for new knowledge about vaccines, methods of treatment and the different ways in which the Nordic countries are tackling the COVID-19 pandemic. The Nordic region is now launching new initiatives to enhance research collaboration and prepare the region for any future pandemic.
NordForsk announces second round in call for proposals for interdisciplinary research projects
NordForsk is announcing phase two of its call for proposals under the Nordic Programme for Interdisciplinary Research. The top 55 pre-proposals from phase one of the call are being invited to submit full proposals under phase two. The application deadline is 28 May 2020.
